Kohli plan was to send a another batsman with Rahul.

New Zealand needed 11 runs in the last two overs with seven wickets remaining, but the match was abandoned and in the end the Indian team proved topped in the Super Over.

Team India captain Virat Kohli said on Friday that by reaching the Super overs of two consecutive matches against New Zealand,

he has learned a great lesson to remain calm till the end and come back if given a chance.

The New Zealand team could not register a win despite being in a good position in the second consecutive match,

while India won the Super Over to take a 4–0 lead in the five-match series. Kohli said after the match,

‘In the last two matches, I learned new things, when the opposing team is playing well, keep calm till the end and try to come back.’
