The final of the Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 will be between India and four-time world champion Australia.

Australia defeated South Africa by 5 runs (DLS) in the rain-interrupted second semi-final match and made it to the final of the T20 World Cup for the sixth time.
In the second semi-final, South Africa won the toss and invited Australia to bat first, after which the hosts scored 134 runs for the loss of 5 wickets in 20 overs.
The rain did not break India’s heart, one step away from becoming world champion
After the intervention of rain, South Africa got a revised target of 98 runs in 13 overs to win.
In response, South Africa was able to score 92 runs for 5 wickets in 13 overs and Australia reached the final.
Earlier, India has made a place in the finals without playing a match. The first semi-final match between India and England was rained out.
The ICC did not hold any reserve days for the semi-finals and finals.
Because of this, India reached the finals directly, as they had the distinction of being top in the points table, winning all the matches of their group.
